Each year, students from across the US take part in scientific studies conducted both in the classroom and at sea. Through the web, SEAS students work alongside deep-sea researchers to learn more about the deep sea.

SEAS is currently in transition. We are in the process of growing and integrating with FLEXE (From Local to EXtreme Environments), a new Earth System project of the GLOBE program. Please visit the GLOBE site for more information.
Although the Student Report Fair is no longer available, you are welcome to use any of the materials on this website (eg. curriculum, mussel lab, deep-sea mussel data, field notes, and recent cruise highlights). Enjoy your deep-sea exploration!
