Northeast Pacific

Currently, there are six biogeographic regions or provinces in the Earth's oceans. One of the most well known is in the northeast Pacific. The Northeast Pacific province, off the northwest coast of the US, is dominated by clams, limpets and the tubeworm, Ridgea piscesae.
