Program Relevancy
In addition to scientific merit, the NSF R2K review panel will consider the degree of relevance and priority that each proposal has within publicized program goals. Therefore, it is important that you specify within the proposal text the ways that you see your project achieving progress toward R2K Science Plan, Implementation Plan, and/or recent R2K Workshop Report goals/recommendations.
At the beginning of each NSF R2K panel meeting, the R2K Steering Committee chair provides an update to the panel on program priorities and areas needing particular effort to advance some goals. You can help the Steering Committee in setting these priorities by contacting any StCom member with input for Committee discussion.
