Ahna Van Gaest

Ahna is a third year graduate student in Dr. Young's lab. After taking an undergraduate course in invertebrate zoology at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology, Ahna fell in love with the study of marine invertebrates and decided to make this her career.

She currently studies development and larval ecology of a deep-sea snail, Bathynerita naticoidea.
