About SEAS: overview
SEAS is a free web-based science education program for middle-and high-school students interested in learning about the deep sea.
Its activities use real examples and recent data from deep-sea research, alongside interactions with scientists, to teach about:
- The scientific inquiry process
- Concepts in earth and life sciences
Learning outcomes address US national science education standards.
Student participation in SEAS is teacher directed.
